Paulsen Highlights Efforts for Economic Opportunity and Growth at JEC Hearing

Washington, D.C. – At a Joint Economic Committee Hearing entitled, “The Decline of Economic Opportunity in the United States: Causes and Consequences,” Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN-03) discussed what can be done to grow the economy and create more jobs and economic opportunities for individuals, families, and small-business owners. Additionally, Paulsen’s Empowering Employees through Stock Ownership Act received recognition and praise for helping in those areas. This initiative promotes employee ownership at startup companies by helping employees keep ownership interest and utilize all options offered to them when accepting a job at a startup company.
