Paulsen Co-Chairs Bipartisan JEC Hearing on Digital Trade featuring Minnesota Small Business Owner
09/12/17Washington, D.C. – At a Joint Economic Committee hearing titled “The Dynamic Gains from Free Digital Trade from the U.S. Economy,” Congressman Paulsen (MN-03) emphasized the importance of digital trade. As co-founder and co-chair of the Digital Trade Caucus, the Congressman is an advocate in ensuring that the United States continues to be a leader in the free flow of digital commerce.
Congressman Paulsen also introduced Nick Quade, general manager of Relay Networks in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. Relay Networks is a provider of network, wireless, and telecom equipment as well as uses e-commerce, making digital trade an important part of their business. Congressman Paulsen asked Mr. Quade questions about how to best help small businesses overcome certain barriers, reach more customers, and grow their companies.
