Paulsen Emphasizes Digital Trade as Part of NAFTA Modernization at Hearing July 19, 2017
Washington, D.C. – In a House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade hearing, Congressman Paulsen (MN-03) spoke on the importance of including digital trade provisions in North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) modernization efforts to better reflect the rapidly changing economy. As the co-chair of the Congressional Digital Trade Caucus, Paulsen and co-chair Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) are sending a letter to the administration highlighting areas of digital trade that should be prioritized in future negotiations.
